Originally from the Midwest, Melissa has family roots across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. After relocating to Washington, she raised two sons who have both dedicated themselves to serving their communities. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors and in nature, traveling whenever she can, and meeting people from different backgrounds — always looking for opportunities to learn something new and broaden her perspective.
