He has led teams across companies such as Assurance IQ, Oak Street Health, Bright Health, Village Care, and eHealth, with a focus on improving performance, developing talent, and creating better experiences for both clients and Medicare beneficiaries.

Joan’s background sits at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and service. He has managed sales teams, supported value-based care operations, worked closely with medical practices, and helped simplify complex healthcare workflows. His experience gives him a deep understanding of how confusing the healthcare system can feel for patients and how important it is to provide clear, honest, and thoughtful guidance.

As a Medicare Sales Manager at Silvur Insurance, Joan brings a consultative and coaching-driven approach to leadership. He is passionate about helping agents succeed, creating repeatable processes, and ensuring that Medicare beneficiaries feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions.

Born in the Dominican Republic and fluent in Spanish, Joan has also been a strong advocate for serving Hispanic communities and making Medicare education more accessible.
